Terms and Conditions
1. Refunds and Cancellations

Cancellation and full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the date of the event.

If the booking is for a block or series of sessions paid up front refunds will only be available 4 weeks before the start of the first session.

If ticket holders cancel within 4 weeks of the event, we are unable to offer refunds.

Failure to attend an event will be deemed a cancellation and you will forfeit 100% of the ticket fee.

If we cancel an event at any time ticket holders will be offered a full refund or a rescheduled date.

We regret that in the event of cancellation for any reason, We are unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expenses you may incur in relation to the cancelled course.

2. Extreme Weather

Events will go ahead in ‘bad’ weather, including rain, snow, and winds up to 40mph.

In the event of extreme weather conditions such as high winds (40mph+), electrical storms and extreme heat, we may cancel events at short notice.

If an event is cancelled due to weather Manor wood will either reschedule the date or offer a full refund.
3. Clothing and Equipment
-
Manor Wood is an outdoor setting which has only open sided shelters. Participants are expected to arrive dressed appropriately for the weather.

We will provide all necessary tools and equipment for events and courses.

We ask that participants do not bring their own tools, including knifes.
4. Food and Drink

Drinking water and hot drinks are available.
-
Food will only be provided if specifically stated in the event description.

If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know ahead of time so we can make the necessary arrangements.

5. Camping and accommodation

Wild camping pitches are available for participants attending courses over multiple days.

There are also BnBs, campsites, caravan sites and lodges available within walking distance of the site.

6. Access

Manor Wood is only accessible for events and is not currently open to the public.

Travel directions will be made available to ticket holders upon booking.

Our education areas are located 5 – 10 minute walk from available parking.

The site is not currently accessible for wheelchair users.
7. Complaints
-
Any complaints must be raised with the course leader at the earliest opportunity in order that the issue may resolved as soon as possible.

Any complaint not resolved during the session must be raised with us in writing within 30 days of the event in question.

In the event of a complaint being raised we will aim to resolve the issue as soon as reasonably possible.
8. Conduct

We expect all event participants to follow instructions set out by the course leader.

Parents, guardians and teachers will be responsible for ensuring minors are following instructions.

We insist on strict environmental practice when attending our events, we will not accept any form of littering or intentional harm to the environment.

We expect participants to be respectful of other participants, staff, woodland owners and members of the public.
-
In the event that participants are unable to follow instructions or are behaving in an unsafe manor, they will be removed from the course without refund.
